Early Invoice

Douglas E. Ernest, who back in the fifties was the McCormick Representative in Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia, came across this invoice, dated 1889, the year the company was founded.  Hand-written in "good black ink" invoices in those days were works of art.  The paper and the beautiful script have withstood the years, although the items and prices are long gone.

Many of you may remember Bev Boyd as "The Diva."  Here she is entertaining down at the Light Street Plant.
